This piece is a Photograph of The Vieux Carré (The Historic French Quarter) of which has been uniquely crafted using carefully selected digital enhancements by the photographer himself (JC.PA) along with the placement of The Image, Time, Character, Context and self-reflection during an in-person capturing of an annual Festival which celebrates all the things that make New Orleans so unique; i.e. food, music, history, culture, the people, and Celebrations.

It all began in 2012 when Photographer, Joshua Louis Carcabasis; a Native New Orleanian, realized that his Love for Nature; Passion of History and Architecture, the Arts, People, and Random Adventure could be used to show the world that if we simply stop, breath and take a moment to simply look around that one can find beauty and peace in just about anything! After realizing the enjoyment it brought to dwell on the beauty of a simple photo and reflect on finding something positive in even some of the most “Usual” places, he wanted to share with the world his unique view of NOLA and everything around it. He began a Social Media Campaign entitled “One A Day” which focused on One Photograph a day for 365 Days to combat negativity and find a way to provide inspiration in the most typical places and things. Doing this opened up a new way of living and expression that was almost infectious to all. After years of inspiration the time has come…..
NOW anyone can share the same passion as JC, with creative inspiration; the love of photography, digital media (PHOTO editing) and an Artistic view of his minds eye he would love to share his work with the world!
