Craft Knife Hardware and Kits – turn your own handle (handle and wood blank not included). Manually machined brass hardware holds blade without any play, just loosen the screw to switch blades when you need a sharp one. Holds Swann-Morton Craft Knife blades and common hobby knife blades that fit in x-acto #2 or “B” handles. The Swann-Morton blades are favored for marking knives by prominent woodworker such as Peter Sellers, Matt Estlea, and Jonathan Katz-Moses. These blades are similar to an x-acto blade but slightly thicker, longer and stiffer: they’re great for transferring small dovetails and laying out fine joinery.
Available with 10mm, 11mm, or 1/2″ hexagonal ferrules (outer ring). The 10mm is very similar to a conventional x-acto knife, the 11mm is a bit heavier and substantial feeling, and the hexagonal one is beefier yet.
Kits include: hardware, hex wrench, 3ea) 01 & 03 blades, 1ea) 02 & 04 blades, 5) blade covers, instructions, and support.
